Wow Bob! I love that one!!! Please let us know how it does for you. Even if Venus does good, I may need that one too! Never can have enough, right? Whistling

Kind of off topic here, but do you all fertilize your heucheras? I've never fertilized mine, but have planted them all in good compost. Most have done extremely well, but a couple, like Hercules, haven't done as well as I expected them to. Do you think some fertilizer would help? I have some seaweed fertilizer that I'd like to try. I bought it for my veggie garden, but it's good for other plants too. I just don't want to do any harm if they shouldn't be fertilized. I've had a lot of heucheras over the years, but never figured out if I should be doing more for them, since for the most part, they have done really good all on their own.

I haven't fertilized mine, but I don't do much in the way of fertilizing in my gardens, other than my roses and clems.

Thanks for the info Carolyn and Bob. I think I may try just a bit of the seaweed fertilizer, and water it down a bit. It shouldn't hurt, but I know that not all plants like fertilizer.
