DH had to saw down a hickory which had decided to grow in the middle of a garden bed. It had a slim trunk, over 5 feet & leaning in the wind. Probably squirrel visitor from the neighbors.

Is this a weed? Found three in my yard this year. I let them flower because the bees loved them. Each plant got about 2 foot tall, bushy, flowered and is now going to seed. I'm pulling them as they are way too big and I don't want them crowding the other plants.Thumb of 2013-06-08/BlackCat08/fe99f4

Celeste it does look like Creeping Buttercup. The plants are huge. I pulled one out already as it tried to go to seed. The other two big ones are still blooming and in the Raspberry patch for now. Thanks.
