I hope someone can help to determine if this is a weed or not. If it's a flower, I'd love to know the name if possible. Thanks for any help!

I just bought a house in Idaho, and these came with the house. There are several plants in the small flower bed that I've never seen before, and this is the first of two possible weeds that I need an ID on. There is a lot of it growing, here and there, throughout the flower bed, but I haven't seen it growing in other areas.

This is the plant, which appears to grow as a single stem. This one is about 12" tall, but some are a little taller, and some are a little shorter.

Seedling. Sorry for the blurry picture.

Flower bud, which is about 1 inch long from the base to the tip, where it is pink. The flower itself is very tiny, maybe 1/4 inch

Base of plant, which shows the stem where it is red. It's green at the top. Leaves at the bottom are about 2 inches long

The leaves at the bottom of the plant have red on them, but not at the top of the plant

One of the flowers open. It's a very small flower, about 1/4 inch across

Thanks springcolor. I'm on the fence about it being a weed, since I haven't found it anywhere but in the flower beds. I've got weeds galore here, and have looked for it elsewhere, but can't find any. I'm not sure that it will actually stay in the bed, even if it's not a weed, since so far I haven't been impressed by those tiny little blooms!

Not even close chelle, but I appreciate the suggestion! Those have hairy leaves and large flowers. These are the tiniest little flowers I've seen in ages, and hairless leaves. It sure is pretty though!

I pull it everywhere here, it's a weed, just not sure which one.

Thanks Sue! I guess I'll get busy pulling them up then, since I've decided that even if it isn't a weed, it's not pretty enough to stay.

Thanks so much to each of you for the help! I'll leave this open a bit longer to see if a name can be attached to it.
