New Year not a good pic. I have to catch it when the rest of the blooms open to get a good pic. It is close in color as GingerS but a couple shades lighter. Not as honking orange as Gingersnap.

Thank you Toni I think you are right it is planted in shade and it seems to be happy in the shade.

Cinta - Yea, mine's in partial shade. Gets shade from noon on. I lost my Gingersnap, so I'm going to have to get another one.

I found a perfect place to push my zone.....On my septic leach field. No snow cover stays in that area and it never freezes and I know it is greatly fertilized. I am having awesome results there.
