Looking at my roses more closely and getting a lot of new ones this season, I am putting the lifespan of roses blooms on the top priorities list to enjoy the roses garden. Would like to make a list of roses surprised me with a very long bloom lifespan. Please add you favourites based on this particular characteristic.

Correction, I should have cited Blush Veranda instead of Cream Veranda. I've had Blush for many years, but this is my first year with Cream so I can't comment on it yet.

Can't tell you about Firefighter or Jacqueline du pre as I've been cutting the blooms and bringing them in the house. 30 days for a bloom is amazing, Elena.

Patricia, Ashly is unique rose for sure. I am suspecting that my friend did not believe me until now when she bought this rose herself! Smiling

Elena,
They're all doing well for me, but we have mild summer/winter here and most of them are in high shade, so I'm not sure if they're heat/cold tolerant in your area. Always worth a shot right? nodding

I googled it and it's not fragrant. Since I'm a fragrant nerd I won't plant unless a rose is, at least, very fragrant. Bummer, cause it's a pretty rose.

Apricot Candy! Monster bloomer and they hold forever... Even as the clusters fade and wane, they are super romantic and pretty.

Moonlight in Paris is a prolific bloomer, and the clusters hold their form very well. I just up-potted this one to a 20" barrel, and it did not miss a beat with the bloom cycle. Beautiful scent as well!

Claire, thank you so much for sharing! Very nice roses! I have Moonlight in Paris as well, just planted this spring and saw one flower! Happy to know what to expect! Thumbs up
Do you keep potted roses outside during Winter months? Still trying to figure out the best approach for my zone.😎

Elena, YES I do keep potted roses outside during the winter with no problem, I am in zone 7A so we don't get continuous freezes, but we do get them periodically. I do keep the pots watered periodically over the winter, approx every month, to keep the roots hydrated, this is important. Plus they are all mulched. The bigger the pot, the more the roots are protected by soil. Plus I have mostly own root plants. Although I have not lost a grafted one, LOL. Since you are in Zone 6A, which is colder, I would pay attention to the hardiness of the plants, try and buy own root if possible, and also group the pots together to form a sort of huddle, and then pile a bunch of leaves or mulch over and around the pots, completely surrounding them as a kind of weather buffer. Plus keep them out of the wind, or against the wall of a heated structure, like the house. The biggest thing is winter watering, though, if there is not regular precipitation from snow. If you live in a snowy area, and there is good melting periodically over the pots, that should be fine. Just be vigilant, and keep a watering diary over the winter, because it's easy to forget when the last watering or precipitation occurred!

Clair, thank you!!😎 I am not big fan of own roots, it takes a while to get them established or may be I am nor skilled enough yet. Only one positive experience when I have grown own roots 2 years in pots and kept them in garage before planting to permanent spot.
I am also considering an option to place pots in soil during winter, still not sure if it's right approach. Garage not an option now, no space for roses.
