Sorry TS Andrea has decided to form and hit Florida. I noticed some of you are bringing in your adenium. How much is too much rain? Obviously a strong storm is not good. But since we water it very little anyway and we have well-draining soil and good pots, can a day or two of rain hurt it?

Hello Cheryl I am finally settled in to my new place and the plants survived fine. When I had my plants in the greenhouse it watered everyday. As long as the soil is mix to drain well it should hurt them. I would be more worried about storm damage from wind breaking off branches.Just make sure that the water runs right through the plant and comes out the bottom within a short time after you pour it in and they should be fine,,,,Ron

Ron! Now there's someone who I have been wondering about! I tip my hat to you. Glad you made it to your new abode. I hope you are having fun settling in and that is it not as hot and humid as it is down here.
Thanks for the watering info. Thank goodness I forgot about the dangerous wind! With me being away so much at the hospital, I worry enough about water and sunlight for my beauties! Your pink is getting read to bloom. There are giant-sized buds on them. Hurray!

Cheryl, Here in S. Florida we are in our rainy season, downpours every day ! It doesn't seem to have any bad effect on my potted plants nor on the many I have in the ground. Rons right (Hi Ron) as long as the pots drain well you shouldn't have a problem. A lot of rain does seem to diminish flowering just a bit though.
