This is my first year growing this. I am hoping it may be like the annual Blue Bedder for me and actually overwinter. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Beautiful flowers! I've grown it before and have had it reseed a little. I usually grow it in containers, being that I'm zone 6a. It should overwinter for you, as it's hardy to zone 8a. Hummingbird Sage (Salvia coccinea 'Coral Nymph')

I've grown it here in western Oregon, but has never come back for me. It did reseed very well, though. I think it gets too wet to overwinter here.

This one overwinters for us most of the time. Just a bit farther South, below San Francisco, it is very reliable. Worth it even as an annual, IMHO.

I am really enjoying them. I had Lisianthus survive the winter so maybe these will also.
