I have my pictures on my old desktop computer. That one no longer lets me log in here. How can I post a picture on a thread here that exists as a Jpg immage in my other computer?

Maybe use a thumb drive or a photo card to copy the photos on from the old hard drive, or onto a smart phone, then load them into your newer computer.

Rita, what are you using now to log in to NGA? If it's something with a USB connector I agree with Larry about using a thumb drive to copy your photos onto and then transfer them; if you're using a phone (or something else without a USB connector) it might be easier to just email the photo(s) to yourself and then save them to the photo gallery.

I am on my Laptop Computer. But my pictures are on my Desktop and all of a sudden it would not let me log in to here. That after all these years.

So I can't post pictures. And I loved to post pictures!!

Check with Dave, I think he has helped some people who could not log into their accounts anymore. Maybe he can fix it so you can go back to logging in on your desk top computer.

Try changing your password to something with no special characters. Just letters and numbers, and then see if you can login on the other machine.

I have no Special Characters. I try logging in and get a message that the system has my username amd password but will not allow me to log in.

Just now when I came to this site I was logged out. Not that I logged out. So I just logged back in but this is from my laptop computer.

Yes, because I can't get logged in on the old. old destop co,puter.

I just wanted to state that it wasn't me that logged out. It just logged out/ But no problem getting back on/.

I think other people have said they had the same thing happen - although I don't think they had any idea why, either. I'm happy you're still with us!

Maybe next year I can buy a new desktop computer. But not in the budget right now.

Last month had to pay for my dog Lilys teeth expractions and last week for somee of my own teeth extrations. No insuraance coverage for any of that.

Really hoping I can afford insurance if I ever get another dog. Vets are getting so expensive. And dental insurance does not pay much when you consider how much it cost.

I have not used a desk top since 1997, my laptop does everything the desktop did and it only weighs 3 lbs. so I can carry it around and use it wherever.

I carry my laptop around also and do very much like it. But I still love the screen on my big desktop and would love to get a new one.

At least Black Friday is coming pretty soon , hopefully you find a really good deal on one.

We will see how it goes but no rush here.

And while I have a laptop and a smaller netbook, I only use them when I need to view a 2nd screen for some reason, or traveling. I will always prefer my full-sized keyboard and 27" monitor, and comfy wrist rest, and full-sized mouse instead of a tiny touch pad (those probably drive me the most nuts about laptops, I always connect a mouse to mine), plus my comfy chair... I could go on! Laptops for me are used only as a last resort.
