Henry's black is pretty much smooth, except where the buds are! Yes Lilac time is a fuzzy (ish) one! And so far very prolific! Unusual coloring too, I'm liking it! Thumbs up

Lots of beautiful bloomers since I checked in last! Lynn, good to see that hege hog is making new babies for you.

Greg, how fuzzy is your lilac time? Mine has a matte look about it but isn't fuzzy to the touch.

I have several very close to flowering, will take pics when I have a minute. I'm concerned that my Silverline looks as if it's just starting to cone Crying It's the only one I have and it's a pretty awesome semp, I'd hate to loose it, but I don't want to go all frankensemp on it incase I'm wrong. I'll have to watch it very carefully over the next day or two, but I suspect it's going to need decapitating Crying

Good idea to wait until you are sure Kate. Most of the time it is well worth the stress of doing surgery when we have to. Group hug

Thanks, Lynn.

I didn't notice the insect on this one till after I took it...he blends so well with the plant.

(Added later: The insect was identified as a Katydid nymph by OldGardener, as a result of Lynn's suggestion. Thanks, Lynn!)

Thank you, Lynn!

Done- I have posted the photo to that thread.

Funny how I did not see him when I took the photo. Think in the sunlight he was almost transparent.

But on a happier note, I inspected the bits of SS. Corsair that I cut up a few weeks ago. I thought it was all pretty much dead. One bit however was still pink, and under that pink leaf I found this!
I can't tell yet if its a bloom or a rosette, it's too small

The pink buds are definitely not a jovi. Sure are pretty though.
Hurray! Nice surgery on 'Silverine' Kate. Now the waiting begins. Rolling my eyes.
Keeping my fingers crossed for offsets on Corsair, it's looking promising.
Looking forward to seeing the blooms on your barbulatum.

Oh Kate, thanks for being patient and not throwing out that Corair so that we could see how hopeful it can be with semps sometimes. Now I'm thinking I should check my garbage can for anything I shouldn't have thrown away!
