I think the insect may be a Cricket of some sort.

I did see a spotted Camel cricket and still looking.....

That bug looks like an assassin bug nymph to me, and those things bite!

Patty, I'm hoping they are offsets for you. I looked at my puedo-Silver King which I decapitated and there's 14 on short stolons that I hope are offsets... My camera phone needs to be recharged and thus no pic. I will try and get pic poste later.

Here's pic of my latest ??? growth after cutting the coning part off my semp. What do they look like to you? Some do look like blooms again, don't they?

Bev yep totally still have blooms on there, but the others around the sides are not coning at all, so you won't lose the plant!!

Yeah, they look like blooms Bev Well I'll keep my fingers crossed for at least ONE baby on mine. Otherwise I'll be forced to go shopping again!

Wow Greg, that is some bloomfest going on with Averil. The bloom bed is beautiful.

Dave, from Perennial Obsessions, has been gathering all their blooming semps into a bloom area in preparation of pollinating. He sure had some interesting plants to work with. Can't wait to see what he comes up with from the crosses that will be made.

Patty and Bev, as soon as you are sure that they are bloomers, cut them off. That will force the plant to put out more. Cut each bloomer as soon as you are sure.

I have the sweetest little Baby Star blooming. It was so shy I had to brace it with a stick so I could get a shot of the bloom
must be all of 1/4 inch across.

It is precious tiny and thanks for using the level of technology to get us the best pic!

This is my very first bloomer. I have a couple others that are putting up stalks.

One is another tiny one the other is the J. H. Hot Lips.

I am very excited to see the blooms.

Such a bright and cheerful pink. The arachs in the second photo look great all snuggled into the rocks.

That second photo is magical Jennifer - seems like the perfect location for them!
