Here are some recent plants I acquired and need help with their ID. Thought I'd start here before I went to the plant ID forum.

This one was marked 'anglicum'.....not sure if that is correct - what do you think? I just love the teeny tiny ball shaped leaves!


The rest of these had no tags. All are hardy to at least zone 4.

Let me look outside, I think I have three of those.

The first one looks like a small sedum album to me, such as Sedum album chloriticum (Baby Tears).
The second one reminds me of Sedum niveum.

The last one looks like a sedum dasphylhum, and reminds me of my sedum dasphylhum 'Himalayan Skies.

We can compare blooms later.

Chris according to SMG their 'anglicum' looks very much like yours. The last photo looks like 2 different sedums? The dasyphyllum and another sedum with larger leaves?

I'm not so sure - I think SMG's anglicum has leaves that are more long and thin.

Sedum dasyphyllum starts look different like that when it's getting ready to bloom. It's gets kinda messy.

Here is another picture of anglicum from last year, and the leaves are a bit longer. I had Sedum album chloriticum Baby Tears in the past, and it's not that one.
Maybe it is anglicum?

The last picture is only one plant, and yes, it sure does look like a sedum dasyphyllum. I'll post pictures when it blooms.

The second picture I compared to your picture of sedum niveum in the database Tabby, and it's quite a bit different. But I LOVE you sedum niveum!

Tabby thanks for explanation! I've never had mine bloom, don't know exactly why, but it stays tightly mounded, which is just fine with me!

Tabby, here are a couple of pictures of it in bloom. It sure does look like sedum dasphylhum. The flowers are white, not sure why it looks pink in the close up.

I think mine is close to blooming so I should be able to get a pic soon too.

Sedum dasphylhum 'Himalayan Skies. The leaves on the bloom stalks spread out more and are bigger.

What a beautiful plant Tabby! And also your flowers have 5 petals, and mine have 6.

Chris, if you look close, some of tabby's blooms have 6 petals.

Mine is grown mostly in shade, but it's probably a different variety of dasyphylhum.
I can't tell some of them apart.

Now, I have a "Lydium" that is blooming yellow. So I'm still looking for some real Lydium.

I have a lydium, and another which looks just like it only a copper color, but neither are blooming yet! Are they supposed to bloom yellow Tabby??
