As many of us will have seed this year and lots of us have also expressed an interest in sharing I wonder if it might be a good idea to set up a seed swap thread? Just a record of who has seed and who'd like to recieve what.

I should have pleny to share and I'm happy to post to who ever would like some. I'm especially interested in heufi seed, but semp seed would be good too.

Oh now I know this is a big ask, but it just occured to me that it might be easiest if someone was prepared to coordinate it all. i.e. everyone would post their seed to one person and that person could divide the seed up and share it out. Maybe you folks over the pond could include stamps and an envelope with your seed to cover the cost of return postage and those of us further away could maybe send a paypal payment or something to cover our costs? That way it would work out cheaper than us all sending individual packages to each other. As I said it would be a big ask for someone to take all that on, so no worries if no one is up for it, it was just a thought. I'd be happy to volunteer but it would cost a lot more for you folk to post to me and for me to post all they way back across the pond than it might otherwise.

Love that you started this new thread Kate. Great idea, now it won't all get lost in the chat thread. Thumbs up

We have awhile to figure out how to do it, so lets hear what others think. I am more than will to share seeds with others, and I do have some heuffelii that will be blooming this year. Apache is one of them. I can't believe how big that heuffelii is this year.

Sure wish I could get it to cross with S. 'Red Lion'. Big Grin

I could share any seeds that I get. I'm a first timer with the seed so we shall see what I get.

I also don't know what I'll get and I've moved all my bloomers into one spot of the yard, so I wouldn't be sure what is what - I guess I'd know arach or not. I bow out of taking on the seed collecting thingy, it sounds like a good idea, but it also would take time Sticking tongue out
I'm fine to send seed to whomever would like some! (including you and Pia - Maybe to you all I could send to one of you and you make sure that you both get some?)...agree with Lynn we have some time to work out details! I tip my hat to you.
