Something strange just happened twice. I went to add a plant to my list & clicked on the blue bar to the right. Instead of the usual menu that comes up asking want, have etc.... I got a window where I had to fill out the name of the plant & when I did & clicked add, nothing happened. Then I clicked the X up in the right corner to close the window & that's when the correct menu finally came up so I could add the plant to my list.?????????

No. Just the one window Lynn.
I think I did this print screen correctly. This time I did have 2 tabs open but that isn't the problem. This is what I get when I click on "add this plant to your list"

Next time you're about the add a plant, could you first do a Shift-Refresh on the page and then try again? I think it'll then work for you.

Great. The change I made necessitated that refresh but you should be all set now. Thanks for the report!

I am getting the same page but I don't have a "refresh" key available. If I click on the x to close the window, then I get the normal window to add the plant.

Don't you have a symbol up top that looks like an almost complete circle that has an arrow on it? That's a refresh & you can click on it. So hit your shift bar & then click on that refresh symbol.

Unfortunately, not on this one. It appears that the manufacturer replaced/substituted keys so that they could include keys for forward/reverse/pause/play, etc. and keys for back lighting and volume control.

I'm not talking about a key. It's a symbol on your screen. Embiggen my screen shot above. look up in th eleft top corner. The symbol just to the left of the little house symbol.

My mistake Big Grin I lost the refresh icon the last time I was forced to update. Looks like I need to redo the tool bar and add it back in! Thank you for your help Thumbs up

Sure thing!

There's another way to do refresh using a combo of keys but I don't remember what it is. Dave or Calif_Sue & some others know & maybe they will come on & tell you how. If they do then I will write it down this time! Hilarious!

Hmmmm... I just was able to add a plant (Ligularia 'Last Dance') in the normal manner (did not take me to the "enter plant" ) but when I added Michelias earlier this morning, I got the screen shown in your screen shot Confused

if you did the shift refresh than that's all you needed to do to fix it.
