How long is it for daylilies from sowing to flowering? Isn't it many years?

If never tried...

This is my first full year growing from seed. But it can take 1 year up to 2 or 3.
My seeds from last year where started late in the season but I might get one or 2 to bloom this year, if not I will get a bunch to bloom next year.

Thanks for your kind offer, but I don't think so. Like I said, I'm too impatient .

I'm hoping to see blooms this year off the ones I started from seed a couple of years ago (I think this is their third year). Somehow I doubt Karen would wait that long! Hilarious! Only reason *I'm* willing to wait is that I'm too cheap to spring for Blissful Blackberry Pie, and these were a couple of crosses from that. Fingers crossed! Smiling

I know what you mean so many daylilies I am to cheap to buy so it's seed crosses I have to settle for.
Who knows I might even get something better.
