well... another garden room project... garden dinning room this time.. every few years I loose the glass of the table top to something or other... once in a large wind it blew it over and the umbrella ccked it as it went... I bought a new table just to use the glass in the old base... then last year as I was unerneath fitting it together in the spring I stressed it too much and the thin tempered glass top stressed too much and it shattered.. this year was table time again... I couldn't find a small rectangular or square table with a full base and umbrella hole.. for hat I was willing to spend... I did have a small 3/4 " thick hunk of old marble I was using about last year.. and a hunk of 5/8 glass a bit scratched... I'd use downstairs in overwintering some plants... so I thought I'd use them together... as I couldn't cut the glass eaasily.. I'd notch the marble for the umbrella.. and I needed a base.. so I built base out of 5/8 Epi.. and kept the metal umbrella stand underneath.. [ it's made out of a steel tread from a crane's track with a pipe welded on the top to recieve the umbrella ] and I sanded the scratched glass all over to frost [ think beach glass ] it and remove the scratched look by scratching it all over... so the cool room I'd mentioned was built again... and now is being removed.... so I have to come up with some mre things to build out of it... I'd mentioned building a cooler /planter last year... but I've since been given a small refrigerator/freezer... so I made an enclosure for the frige with a planter on the top... like a green roof to keep the heat off the enclosure... I'd thought of a cooer planter...but got a small refrigerator... Built it into a foam enclosure to keep it cool... And have a planter as the top of it...then a sink... We'll I didn't need to soak anything.. So a couple of marble sills... With a space between them to have the water pass through....and a small faucet... Only cold water... Like for the under counter water treatment systems.. So now you can get a glass of water ...without getting it from the hose... And a new bamboo door to the storage area under the big planter..
Must be getting time to move... If everything is done here

Gordon - As always, you never cease to surprise me with your ingenuity! Love all that you've done!

And .... I hope you do NOT move! I can't imagine starting my gardens and plants all over again!
