Today, for the first time I visited the Hosta House in Salt Lake City....near to Hosta heaven for a Hosta lover. I'm certain this will be the first of many visits. I'll be tempted to go back tomorrow. Here are a number of general views and just a few of cultivars. He had many lovely things I had not seen or heard of before. When I go back I plan on taking many pictures of individual cultivars.

Paul - I have Jewel of the Nile (not sure how many pips) -- If it is bigger I can send you a piece. I love My Wolverines too -- that one does well here too.
My praying hands is still little -- not sure why -- I should blast him with some fertilizer this year nodding

The man who owns Hosta House just got back from the Hosta convention. He said the common theme st the convention for growing nice Hosta is water, water, water. He said many are growing them in containers now.

Wow! That's a lot of rain! Are you trying to make up for last year? I hope you don't have problems in your gardens from too much rain.

I know -- Now I am wigged out about crown rot!!! Last year we couldnt buy a rain drop -- now we are praying for sunshine.
The corn that got planted is coming up yellow in rows, not green. It's not gonna be a bad year for farmers in MN! Crying
