The Solstice was last night 11:04 PM here.
So today is first day of summer.
You would not know it here.
Calgary and the near by communities are in a state of emergency.
Rivers have over flowed the banks, and people are being evacuated.
They are telling everyone to stay home if they are not flooded out.

I am fine as my home is on higher ground,but they evacuated people living in low lying areas.
Bridges are closed. The military engineers are being brought in too.
I hope all of our Calgary members are okay, too.
