I've had these in my garden for a couple of years. I think someone gave them to me... or else I bought them in one of Mamajack's co-ops... or some of both. Whistling (I started a garden diary once, but I'm not very disciplined at filling it in.)

I am very sure I didn't expect them to get this big, or I wouldn't have planted them where I did! Hilarious! Today I bought some other plants I want in their spot, so I (or rather, my husband) dug them up and transplanted them. Well, some of them... there are plenty of little bulbets to give away.

The bulbs are HUGE!!! Can someone tell me what they are? I have some (I think it's the same thing...) blooming in another part of the garden, and one is pink and smells like an Easter lily, and the other one is white and looks like a spider lily. These haven't bloomed yet this year (and maybe won't since I moved them so late) and I can't remember what they did last year. (I really need to start that diary again!!)

I need to get the bloom pictures off of the other camera. I'll post them in a bit.

I'm pretty sure these are the same plants, but not positive. They're in another bed.

These are crinum lilies. The blooms are fragrant on the pink and red not sure on white crinum (also known as spider white lily)

Thank you, Gigi!!

The white ones are fragrant, too, but it's a completely different smell. We watched the white one bloom tonight... My husband got out his camera and tripod and took stop action photos of the bloom opening - it was magical! Lovey dubby

You're welcome :), hope you can find them homes. I think there is a separate forum where you can post giving them away or trading. I love the fragrance but I have too many Rolling on the floor laughing

Did you find home for them? If not I would absolutely love to give a home to them. I would be happy to pay postage plus something for time and trouble.
