My greenhouse has been standing for going on 23 years. Over that time, the PVC glazing has gone from clear, to not so clear, which is actually ok, because in Florida, that kind of sunlight coming through the glazing can be burning.
Its not a vegetable-growing GH with benches, its a planted and container plant greenhouse for tropical plants.
As part of my interior hard scape I have stone, cork bark, driftwood and manmade totems for climbing plants. Every couple years the totems have to be maintained.

Also, each year, I seem to collect more plants LOL. I have a corner that I am going to renovate this Spring. A couple of the totems need replenishment of the covering, and I plan to erect a couple more, as well as add come cork panels and maybe driftwood for mounted things and climbing things.

Right now, the floorspace is cluttered with freeloaders...plants I bring in from the yard to overwinter in the GH. Once Spring really comes (we are in what Floridians refer to as FAKE SPRING right now) and those can go back out and stay out til next winter, I'll start my renovation of this corner.

This is also my coldest corner, and I plan to take steps to fortify it this year.

Here are a few photos of the space now. I'll post back over tome to show how it evolves. And yes, I will be cleaning the walls LOL

Looks wonderful. I'm attempting a tropical greenhouse here on Long Island and it's so hard to regulate the temperature. Id like to do a totum but what happens to the plant when you refreah the material? I have a few Anole lizards running around the plants and a pond with tropical fish.

Usually nothing. I just patch over any bare spots. I only get bare spots when the pesky squirrel gets in there and pulls coir off for nest material. I've started encasing in plastic net so she can't do that.

Looks like I may be able to tentatively start this project next Tuesday. The weather goes from whatever this nasty fake spring is to more real spring. I have to sit down and make a couple plans. I also need to replace my heater this spring. I need to find someone to install it, that's hard around here....but I want the aisles as free and clear as possible and all the freeloaders moved out so it doesn't;t intimidate whoever I get to come out here and look at the job. I'm thinking late March/early April to start trying to get someone to say yes.

Gina, I have always liked your greenhouse. Please update with pics as you renovate that area.

Did you solve your heater issue?

Beautiful. Is there room for a rocking chair, so you can relax and breathe it in?

Reminds me of the Winter Gardens in the Auckland Domain, Grafton, NZ.

Well I got started. I moved out all the things that were movable, some things aren't. I sprayed the walls down with disinfectant and algaecide and tomorrow I'll clean that off and repair the scraggly totem. I'm planning n putting in a few more supports in this corner for climbers and some wire panels for orchids. Last step will be to get the climbers situated on the new support and then put a nice new mulch on the floor and move SOME of the old denizens back in. They mostly need repot jobs, so will do that before they come back.

All the supports are up. Nice fresh mulch laid down. Racks have Spanish moss, and some orchids have already moved over. Tomorrow and this weekend I'll select the new climbers to install

Its done. Now I just have to be patient and wait for the small plants to grow and populate the supports
