That's a scary thought, but I doubt it.
Logging out simply removes the cookie placed in your browser that identifies you to the ATP servers. Logging back in places the cookie back.
Your password is encrypted and never stored in the cookie or on the server, nor is it transmitted except the one time you login. In fact, it might be more secure to login and stay logged in, so that you aren't transmitting your password each time you login.
Even I can't see what your password is. It's stored in the server encrypted.
