I cannot upload. Don't know why. Have reduced size of picture. It is in JPG format. Any suggestions?

Finally managed to upload unknown plant. A friend found this in the southwest area of Kentucky along the bank of a stream. It grows to about 12-15 inches tall and the bloom is about an inch long. Blooms almost the whole month of June. Very showy in my garden.

Hi Akerr! Welcome to ATP.

You really don't have to resize your photos, ATP does that for you. But it's best if you are using Firefox, sometimes your problem might come from that direction. Sounds like you got it done though.

You did it!! Good for you.

I'm in KY, but I'm not sure I've seen this plant.
Maybe you could add it to the Plant ID forum, lots of knowledgeable folks there.

And here's the link to that ID forum:

Edited to add: This might be what we call Indian Pink and I think the botanical name is Spigelia + something, but I'm not sure of that.

Welcome, Akker.

I don't know that plant either, but it's pretty.
