That marmalade is a real eye grabber and is well offset by the blue-eyed grass. How tall does your blue-eyed grass get? That looks huge to me and I'm used to things getting bigger than the stated height due to our wet/temperate weather.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

That was not in my garden, it's the display garden at Annie's Annuals Nursery. Check out their slide shows, they are to die for! http://www.anniesannuals.com/ They plant in raised beds and use a awesome compost mixture and the plants love it and so that may account for the size of the blue-eyed grass.
