Morden Sunrise is a tough plant.
It has spent the last two winters in the unheated garage.

Is it eventually going into the ground? I like the curvey petals; do they stay as the rose opens more fully?

It will go in the ground when I clear the quack grass in its spot!
The curvy petals do not stay---they are there just as it opens.

Yea, Morden Sunrise is reported to be a zone 3 rose. One of the most popular ones here in my area. See them lots everywhere.. which is why I don't have one.

are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)!

That's one of my favorite roses because it handles both the cold winter winds (unprotected!) and the heat of summer.
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
