I have a cross and the database says both are rebloomers.They are almost a year old.This is one of 2 seedlings I kept inside all winter to see if they would do better then the outside ones.

Does that mean maybe they could bloom this year? They are getting a lot bigger then the seedlings that over wintered outside.

That is a good question! I have never kept any inside, so I can't answer.

I don't think the parents being rebloomers would have anything to do with how early the seedling has its maiden bloom. I could be wrong though!

I hope they will bloom this season for you. Unfortunately just because the parents are rebloomers, it doesn't mean the kids will be. You just have a better chance that they will be. I have bloomed many seedlings with rebloomers as parents that don't rebloom for me.

I raise seedlings inside, and when I put two reblooming parents together,
the seedlings are also. I found that if the weather is warm enough to plant the seedlings
outside early in the year as last year in March, some seedlings bloomed at 9 months.

I don't expect that this year as the spring was cold, and they have not been in the ground
that long. I have crossed a non-rebloomer parent with one that does and the seedling
will rebloom. So, you just never know. I think so much depends on the weather and rain
amount as to how well they do.

There now, I have given you hope. LOL.
