It was such an interesting plant and was putting out offsets quickly. (If that's what you say about rosularia..
I don;t know if I will attempt another. Greg, do you have any in your collections?

How does it do with the wet PNW winters?

I only just got it, and then they are only a few cuttings, which are rooting. I would figure out a way to shelter it from the rain, if it gets too wet this fall/winter but also mine isn't the same type as yours and I don't know if the one I have is from Turkey, I don't think it is?? Shrug!

Mine grow out in what every out Pacific Northwest throws at them. And that is a lot of rain in the winter.
But we don't get the cold temps with very dry spells that Marilyn gets. Then the drying winds.
I think Kevin's suggestion of the pain of glass would work very well, but you would have to give them drinks of water I would think.

Your altitude makes a difference compared to us at sea level regarding sun exposure. You are closer to the sun, air is a little thinner. When I was living in Santa Fe, my plants were at 7000 ft altitude. I had to really employ the shade cloth during brightest part of the day on my semps.

They are in dappled sun under tree shade. The heat and wind could be a factor not direct sunlight except an hour or two in early morning.

In the winter sun is a bit more direct due to leaf fall but then the cold and wind are the biggest factors, also once again
the freeze thaw cycles.
