I love the Red-spotted Purples! I keep thinking they'll return to my area after being absent for a couple years, but not so far.

Wow, that Red-spotted PUrple sure is a beauty! That's one I don't remember ever seeing but my Florida B'fly book shows it as resident in the central and northern part of the state; I'd love to attract that one to my garden!

Try putting out some fruit....oranges, grapes, melon. Rotting fruit attracts butterflies!
