Sorry to hear about your wasp incident. Stings hurt like crazy! How can something so small hurt so much? When I was working at the nursery, another employee disturbed a yellow jacket nest, and several of us paid the price. I was very lucky to only get a couple stings out of the whole deal. The poor guy that disturbed the nest had yellow jackets all down his shirt and jeans. He took off running and stripping off his clothes, followed by a very angry swarm. It was a good thing we didn't have any customers in that area at the time!

The swap sounds like so much fun! Let's hope we get the expected cool-down this week so you can plant all your new treasures.
They're saying eastern TN may get a bunch of rain this week, which is so desperately needed. And, of course, the cooler temps will be much appreciated.

Well, we don't do things by half measures, do we? Knoxville has received over 6 inches of rain since Saturday, with more on the way. Literally, when it rains, it pours!

I had to fix a little gutter problem during yesterday's downpour, and came in soaked to the skin. I was actually cold! It was so nice not to be melting for a change.

Morning --
4-5" here so far ... and much cooler. I'm glad it hasn't been torrential rain and no power loss this time. It went from 98º to 64º in a little over 24 hours. I agree about it feeling so good not to be drenched with sweat for a change. Now you're drenched with rain. Big Grin Big Grin I do love Fall!

55º here right now. MId-60's predicted for today and that will be record setting cool for this date if that temp holds.
