maiden bloom 2012, S-3-N (Angelique Fringes x Forestlake Ragamuffin)
pod, pollen fertile, was moved to the keeper bed last fall, has not bloomed yet this year, "2013"
It looks so perfect! How large is the bloom and scape? Toothy dl's typically leave me cold but this one is absolutely divine. The balance between teeth and the color of the bloom is stunning!!! Is it a sev, ev or dor?

You can continue on in this thread, or add yours to the thread we have each month for seedlings that most everyone contributes to. Some people like to be able to look back to the year before and see what they posted that was blooming, and sometimes that is easier if you know to look in the "July Blooms" for named ones or "July Seedlings"
It is great to have you join us! Feel free to tree-mail either of the Moderators if you have any questions - our names are in the upper right of the daylily forum home page.

The "July Seedling" thread moves up and down in the thread line-up each day as folks reply or post. If you scroll down the threads you'll find it or click below to go directly.

S-24-N (Edge Of Heaven X Techny Spider) 5.75 x 29, maiden bloom year 2012, 1st bloom of 2013
prettiest polychrome I grow, pod, pollen fertile, 3 way branching, 20 buds.
This my favorite look in a daylily, I call it Reckamp glow
I found here in south central Wisconsin that every single seedling I have went dormant last winter. That is not what I saw the winter previously, where I had a mix of dormant, semi-evergreens & a couple of evergreens. ~Jan

Ed - that S-24-N.... DROOL! Pink Midribs! PolyChrome! DROOL! Awesomely beautiful! (When is it for sale? Lol!)
(If you can't tell, I love (what you call) the "Reckamp glow" ones. I have 'Joyful Soul', 'Harvest Moth', 'Techny Spider' (first bloom ever for me this summer), and what I am 99% positive is 'Little Rainbow'. I made some crosses on 'Joyful Soul' this summer. It is quite pretty, and you might consider it for your hybridiziing program if you are into polychromes. Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Joyful Soul') )
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom
