I don't know if mine were dwarf but I had two blueberry bushes I grew in the whiskey barrels. They did fine, just have to make sure they get enough water.

Yes, in large containers. It works well because you can control the soil and moisture. Enough water is necessary as Arlene mentioned above.

Blueberries do not like the shallow feeder roots disturbed so I wouldn't plant anything else as a ground cover in the container. Normally they recommend two varieties to produce. If you go with these, they don't appear to need a second variety as a pollinator.

Please keep us posted on how they do?

I couldn't open the web site, but my son was telling me over the weekend about a new dwarf evergreen blueberry and also a dwarf raspberry, both bred for containers. Sounded interesting.

Deb ~ here is a link http://www.gurneys.com/product...

The two types I have in containers are Premier and Climax. But this flavor looks interesting enough I may try it also.

Not too computer literate here so don't know what you are asking, sorry.

I only right clicked the address bar, cut and pasted it in my post.

editing to add, you could edit your address by putting a space between the [url] and the address on both ends to make it work.

Ok....How did you make the link turn purple so people can click on it to get to the site?? Usually you put 3 letters before and after the link like "url".

I don't type the full [url]. The computer does it for me by cutting & pasting.

Just copy the address you want to put in a post then paste it to the post no need to add anything else. I like to keep it simple and not have to type.

I tried blueberry bushes in large containers a couple of time but didn't have luck keeping them over winter here in our very cold climate.
