Got this at Wal-Mart this year and it had a label that said it was Pineapple Punch. Doe anyone else have this? I put it in my list of plants but no picture popped up.

I do not have it but it is a sport of Pineapple Upside down Cake introduced in 2005 by Walters. I would like one...Reminds me of curly Fries.

Thank you! I have been enjoying myself here and I will probably spend more time here than I should. Guilty pleasures like my plant addiction keep me going. Hilarious!

Welcome! Welcome!

Isn't PUDC a lighter green, his reminds me of something I've been wanting called 'Wheee'. Confused

I have Pineapple Punch and it does look similar to yours, though mine hasn't begun blooming yet. Here's a picture of mine from about a month ago. The edges on mine aren't as wavy as yours, but it could be an age thing as mine looks more mature than yours.

I wonder if it has anything to do with how much sun it gets. Is that Liberty in the background? Sure is pretty.

My Pineapple Punch does not get much sun, it only gets some morning sun. I was so attracted to the curly leaves and so pleased that it bloomed this year as a new plant. You can't see it in the original picture but the blooms are not solid lavender but seem only tinted lavender.

Yes, I see the flowers are very big for a new plant. I usually see four stalks on an older plant. I like the wavy leaves also and was attracted to 'Wheee' for that reason. I need to look and see if it is slug resistant. I never heard of 'Pineapple Punch' before, thanks for sharing. I tip my hat to you.

It used to be in more sun when I was in Ohio, but where it is now it definitely gets more shade. The plant in the background is Majesty. My Liberty suffered from a late frost and most of its edges have burned away.

Sorry to hear about Liberty. I was in a rush to move some Hosta in the late fall and my Liberty ended up in too much shade and it is not as pretty this year. I love Majesty, does it have any problems with slugs. All mine have done well as far as slug problems except 'Montana' and 'Allegan Fog'. Shrug!
