Hi! I got this daylily several years ago either through a DG coop or free for postage. I believe she came with Lighthouse Peach Jewel, El Desperado, Barbara Mitchell, and/or a few others. But for the life of me, I can not find an ID for her.

In my notes from way back when, I mentioned Broadmore Red and Lighthouse Rose Bouquet, but I don't think she is either one. Does she look familiar to anyone? Thanks!

Well Joann, all the plants you mention are ones I grow and the Lighthouse ones are ones I hybridized. But honestly, it doesn't look familiar to me unless I sent you a seedling. Could be a Daring Dilemma seedling.

Well, what do you know?! I was looking through my old Dmails and it looks like I did get some newbie free for postage daylilies from you! Coincidentally, I was looking through the July blooms post here and you posted a NOID that looks pretty similar. The most similar bloom to mine that I've seen, anyway. I think I shall unofficially call her Lighthouse Mystery.

kimbar, that looks like a dead ringer! Is the color a pretty deep rose in person? Here are some more pictures from this morning. It's overcast today so I think the color looks more accurate than my first pictures, but at least on my screen, it's looking a little more fuschia than it does in person.

Yup, upon further investigation I don't think it's Chicago Arnie Choice. I have it in my mental journal that this one is a semi-evergreen or evergreen, and it is really more rose than purple or lavender. oh well!

I think the white rib is too definate for C A C.I have it in front of me right now, and the rim is a lighter RV than the rest of the bloom, but not white.l
