I thought they were tuberose but they are not...so what are they?
This is the first time these bloomed for me. Sorry, didn't catch if before she started fading.

Thanks, Lin & Janet. What a lovely surprise for me! I have the crinum 'Ellen B' blooming wonderfully and the C. americanum is just starting to bloom.

Betsy - that looks like a shorter variety of crinum. How tall is it?? I would like to grow some with shorter flowering stalks.

There's several forms of Crinum jagus..

I bought mine from Thailand several years ago, I keep it inside over winter but still waiting for flowers, I doubt it likes our climate but it's grown well. The leaves never die back completely.

I forgot about Marcelle's crinums - she is just up the road from me; I've been meaning to visit her crinum farm.
Dianne, just measured the leaves and they are between 12 - 16 inches. I have had these in a pot.
