Interesting colors on that first one.

I've often thought about getting some seed from them but just never get around to it, I guess. These are interesting for me to see; lets hope they develop nicely with time. Pretty colors!

More interesting is the color pattern on that first one.

Was going to check them out but the site is down.

From what I have seen many of the seeds on the Sparra's site appeared to be derived from seeds from the NALS seed exchange. That exchange is closed now but will be back next year. Keep in mind that donors get first choice, then members, then others.

Here is the link to this years exchange so you can get an idea of the offerings. Just click on the division at the top to see the list of those seeds. Trumpets and aurelians are in Division 6.

A new bloom this morning. Labeled RM 10-409 Tetra Orienpet seed planted on 5-14-10

I have RM 10 -363 Tetra OP...I uncovered 3 good sized bulbs this year..Definate blooms January....Many of his bulb purchases,, will bloom too.. Remember, Ray was a good friend of Joe Hoell and Brian Dutton.. A lot of this material is good crosses from Greisbach seed or pollen!...Unfortunately I am struggling to get a reply from Ray, and the last time we spoke [2 yrs ago] He had a crook back!!..He's not a young man... Della, do you know him at all?.............One day, we'll all be like Ray, trying to hang on to the good lily life!

I know of Ray through legend and family friends, but have never met him. Crossed paths with his father a few months ago (who likes to tell an entertaining tale or three), and he never mentioned anything untoward about Ray's health.... So let's hope Ray's just having a good rest or a holiday some place nice, dreaming up new lilies
