Mary Ann...

Thank you. I've never had a problem, so, in the future, if I recommend av, I'll also add that it doesn't work on everyone. Dang !

I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.

One time I was working in the yard and had a can of Diet Coke sitting on a rock. When i took a drink I immediately felt something in my mouth. A wasp but I spit it right out before it could sting me. Another time a sparrow must have lit on the can....need I say more? Grumbling Crying :

I have been stung by a bee out of a nest in the grass. It headed for my face & luckily I was wearing goggles. John had to spray the entire nest. the ground nesting bees seem to be more pugnacious.

Well, bees seem to be "in the air" today everywhere! Helped my son capture ANOTHER swarm this morning, about 9:00A, and then about an hour ago, I made a walk-a-bout, and danged if there wasn't another swarm in the cedar trees! That's 4 swarms in about a 10 day period. We are as sure as we can be that they aren't coming from our hives "splitting-off", and have no clue where they ARE coming from! Seems as fast as I build some boxes, he's filling them with captured swarms. These were all fairly large swarms, too! Now, if they just make it through the winter, I'll have LOTS of honey for my oatmeal!....Arlyn

Hmmmm -- well I wonder if that's what it was, Lucy.................??? Didn't feel like a bee-sting though -- felt like a wasp or a yellow-jacket. I think hornets hurt even worse! Sad Sad
