Thread OP

Do you know if either of these are available anywhere? It appears from research that they were never "introduced." Can you shed any light on this?
Thank you so much--

Amy:

I'm so glad you posted over here on the Daylily Forum and I hope you find a source for those two DL's named after your grandmother and great-grandmother!!

~ Edited to say: Since it's the weekend, it might be early next week before anyone sees the post so hang in there, I'm sure someone will come along and try to help if they know about those two DL's.

Have a great remainder of your weekend,

Lin

I don't know if anyone has mentioned Gil Stelter in Guelph, Ontario to you. His garden name is Gryphon gardens. He is one of the foremost experts on Dr. Stout's daylilies in AHS, or anywhere. They grow approximately 60 of Stout's 91 introductions. If he doesn't grow it, perhaps he might be able to refer you to someone who does. If you Google his garden name, his website will pop up and you can contact him from there. Good luck!

These may be some of Dr. Stout's really difficult to locate daylilies, if they were never introduced in Bertrand Farr's catalog way back when. I hope that someone can help you find them.

Julie: That's great information; thanks for sharing!

Amy: Here's the link to his website: http://www.gryphongardens.ca/ and at the bottom of the page there's an icon that says Contact Us ... I hope he can be of help!
