My Brugmansia, Cherub is blooming..

Cherub is in a pot and she is 6 foot ,at least...I hdidn't prune them back last fall. This fall I am planning o it...

Charleen, are your Cherub flowers white to the end of blooming or does pink suffuse them? Most online nurseries I've seen list Cherub as various shades of pink.

Reason I ask is that I was given a cutting of one my friend called Cherub, and the flowers are the palest, just barely pink. Made sense to me with the name . . .

This is what happens when you start plants from cuttings from friends, I know. Mine is well over 7ft. and is in the ground. Very lanky.

Cherub should finish pink.

It doesn't seem so JT. should I change it to noid??
I have some of these blooming and I know i don't know what they are only so pretty...

I have one named Flame getting ready to drop and bloom also. Is it a double?? Sure looks like it....I'll get photos soon...

Yes Charleen,Flame is a nice double orange.I think it is one of Larry Smith's hybrids and a real keeper.

I took this close up and it looks splotched but still very pretty....

Flame is a double but like many doubles it can sometimes throw singles especially when young.
