Editted to say: After starting this thread, I heard from mariesgreengarden, the eBay seller who sold me a box of 100 unrooted sedum cuttings and she helped me ID the ones I had already posted photos of. I will try to get them updated here with names. I'm really excited to have so many new ones to grow. With water being in short supply here the last couple years, I think I will be growing more and more sedums and semps.

#1 farinosum, #2 divergens, #3 spurium tricolor, #4 pachyclados white diamond, #5 album coral carpet, #6 populifolium 'poplar leaved sedum', #2 spathulifolium cape blanco, #2a spathulifolium purpura, # 3 dasphyllum major, #4 kimnachii, #5-6 thin leaved is saramentosum iijima and the wider leafed one is lineare 'golden teardrop', #7 oreganum, #8 laxum, #11 divergens, #12 album baby's tears, #13 oreganum, #15 oreganum 'harvest moon', #16-17 album belled inferno, it looks like it lost allot of leaves. #18 makinoi variegatum, #19 album coral carpet, the maroon ones are album murale, #20 makinoi.

Here's the whole group after I tried to sort them.Thumb of 2013-07-19/stilldew/82dd9d

Wow what a wonderful collection. Hurray! Hurray!
I cannot keep many of the sedums alive. I treat them like Sempervivums, so maybe they would like more water.

I love number 3 and 14 especially. I do have some of the red carpet growing in a sheltered spot of rock garden.
Am hoping the bunnies don't find it. nodding

Thanks. I am very happy with them. They came from an eBay seller and I have mailed her a link to this thread, so hopefully if she has time, she will be able to help with the ID's.

I grow my other sedums along the edges of my perennial beds and they grow into the gravel path. I water them about the same as I do the daylilies and Iris. Sedum Angelina is my favorite. Here it is growing under the park bench.Thumb of 2013-07-19/stilldew/6fdeb4

Three might be S. tetractinum f/China. It changes color with growing conditions.
Four looks like S. 'Tri-Color'.
Seven looks to be one of the S. spathulifolium, just not sure which one. There are several now that have that pink/rosie color.
Last one might be Sedum nussbaumerianum?

We'll see who else comes along to help. Smiling

What I'm wondering now is which of these sedum are the super hardy type I can just put outside this winter and which are the ones I might be better off growing under lights. I'm planning on getting a couple tons of pea gravel dumped in my driveway to add to my raised beds and also for my back yard pathways and think most of them wil fit there. My back is hurting just thinking about it, but at least it's a longer term solution than the wood mulch paths I've been dealing with. My front paths are peagravel already and the sedum really seem to like to grow out into them.

Welcome Marie. I'm so glad you figured out how to post. It's so nice seeing the photos of the sedums growing in your garden. Lots of the cutings have rooted and I moved them to larger pots until fall. I have a couple I haven't posted photos of yet, but I'm having camera problems, so may be awhile before I can post more photos. Be sure to share your garden photos on other threads too if you have time. I post on the perennial thread, daylilies, iris, lilies, coleus and a few others. Something for everyone here. There is a seeds forum too and a forum where you can sale things.
