You have to be brutal and cut them way back! Oh, I just saw where you are. We lived in Tucson for two years. I learned to embrace cacti, and gravel. Do you drive with oven mitts?

LOL - just about. I'm thinking of switching permanently to bermuda shorts to protect the back of my legs, grrr.... yipe!
