Ann Burton asks:

I have transplants of Turk's Cap & Tiger's Eye. Can you please give me info on planting & care of these plants? Thanks for any info you can provide.

Can y'all help her out?

Thanks! Thumbs up

My Turk's Cap is planted in clay soil with 2-3 inch rocks mixed in (think a previous owner way back had graveled that area for a parking pad). It is planted up against a privacy fence, gets Texas summer sun from around 8:00am to 2:30pm. Does need occasional supplemental water to keep it from wilting, but, even with neglect, it gamely comes back and gets a little larger every year.
It’s okay to not know all the answers.

For Malviviscus ("Turk's Cap") there is growing information for a few in the database:

I'm not sure which plant is referred to by "Tiger's Eye"; there are quite a few in the database with the name "Tiger's Eye"; Day Lily, Hibiscus, Black Eyed Susan etc. all with different growing habits :
