Hi,
I live in the tropics but would love to grow the superbells lemon slice and berry blend lantana.
What would be the best way to grow them and where can i get the seeds from?

Although many people are in love with Lantana, it is listed as an invasive in Uganda. I would not recommend planting this.

Welcome! Grayc. I live in subtropical Southwest Florida and Lantana is very invasive here. I am afraid I have to agree with greene and not recommend it.

Additionally, the tsetse fly finds shelter in the lantana; they are attracted to the plant by its odor. Tsetse flies taking respite under the leaves of the lantana could easily see you as their next blood meal. Not a pleasant thought.

Is it still invasive if confined to a container? I have a couple of what are considered noxious weeds, but I happen to like them. I keep them confined to containers on concrete (so they can't sneak out the bottom) and have yet to see volunteers anywhere.
I don't think you can get seeds for that lantana, tho; I believe it's only available as a plant. However, Amazon lists a number of other lantana seeds.

I don't believe they even set seed. At least, I've never seen any on the calibrachoa I've grown.

Lemon Slice calibrachoa is pretty. Hybrids often do not produce seeds that will be true to the original Hybrid and Lemon Slice is a hybrid. In addition, calibrachoa don't produce a lot of seed and the seeds are mostly sterile. All of the calibrachoa that are available are propagated by vegetative cuttings, so only available as plants. The plant breeders have patents on most varieties, which prohibits propagation. Even the wholesale growers are not allowed to take cuttings and propagate.
Hope this helps...you will need to buy plants since no seeds are available
