Kapalua can be had for much less if you consider the fact that it is a re-name (one of Exotic Plumeria's specialties) of the registered variety 'Gulf Stream'.....

LOL Dutchlady, I didn't add those little angry dudes myself (possibly inserted on accident?? IDK...) but I didn't notice they were there until after I submitted the post... Hilarious! As for Kapalua being Gulf Stream renamed, I only see a pink/white with a little yellow in that flower when I look it up? Is there another Gulf Stream I am unaware of?? I am always up for learning the true names of Plumeria that have been renamed by EP. I do know Kahana is the same as Hawaiian Cocktail, Embers is Toba's Fire, and Confetti is Barbados Showgirl. I also remember seeing Matt (1-stop-aloha) having a Koolina listed with another name (Orange Punch or something like that....can't quite remember). I have searched for another orange that looks like Kapalua, but have yet to find one. Can you show me a pic of the Gulf Stream you are referring to? Thanks for the welcomes!

I'm sorry, I wasn't awake enough... it's Kahana that is a re-name of Gulf Stream.... *Blush*

I wondered why anyone with so many gorgeous plumerias would be soooo angry!!! Whistling Glad it was just a glitch. You have quite a collection. I've never seen Texas Aggie. Pretty cool!
Welcome to ATP. Thanks for sharing your plumerias with us.

Bubbles, look up bloomingplumerias on ebay, or Brad's Buds and Blooms. They both have Texas Aggie periodically, with bloomingplumerias having them more often.

Welcome Plumacactus25 Welcome! I now have plumeria envy. Keep posting your gorgeous blooms.

Talk about enabling, Gigi just had to tell us what BBB meant,( of course i did ask) and yep I also spent several hours on his website this weekend too. The plumies that I ordered arrived today Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing The plants are nicely rooted, with thick stems, with several tips.

I'm kinda glad my DH wasn't available to be "the voice of reason" Hilarious! Now I've got some really cool plants that I look forward to growing, and I don't have to root them myself.

I think that's one of the reasons why I got hooked with BBB, I think I purchased 15 varieties (mostly Thai and some Aussie varieties) from them last year and they were all rooted when I got them. I don't know if it was luck (mild winter) or maybe I learned how to grow plummies but I did not lose a single plant. A few bloomed already, I'm just waiting for the rest of them to bloom.
