Dave is it possible to make some changes to the sempervivum database?
I would like to have these fields:

Type ins except for Country of Origin.

Year of registration

Country of Origin (Drop down)

Origin of name

Seed parent

Pollen parent

I would also like to have a new field for a bio on the hybridizer?

I would say, "type ins" means a blank space where someone types in the correct information. Fill in the blank.

Why do you have to have the translations of the country names? Do we have lots of French and Slovakian members who wouldn't know the country's name in English? And do you know that those diacritical marks don't work well with our search engine?

Just a thought on the biographies. @dave Would it be better if this was just a fill the blank for the name of the hybridizer, and maybe make it clickable. Then someone could write biographies as articles, that would be linked to the Plant Database. Later on your to-do list, you could create a biography section to ATP, with biographies of plant people, such as hybridizers and famous botanist.

Actually, I just realized. With pulldown fields, you can't have a magic text box under "Other"...

These have all been added.

Now if you want to change the order of how all these are shown, let me know. In other words, which one you want to show first, etc.

That looks great Dave. And I see you added Russia and Japan.
I do think there may be two or three more, but will wait to add them when we know we have all the missing countries.

Another request on this topic. Could we have the order of the fields changed to this way? And move the 'Awards' field to the number 9 position, with 'Other details' being in 10th position?
