As a comment about Dragonfruit (Selenicereus monacanthus), TexasPlumeria87 wrote:

I started these plants from cuttings last year. I've given away several cuttings since then because some of the plants are over 6 feet tall. It grows very fast once established and loves the heat and humidity. I've read the plant has to be at least 10lbs before it produces fruit.

I usually visit BB&B just look at what plumerias to get next. Just harmless "window" shopping. Hilarious!

I do that a lot too. I think I'm done buying this year, I got too many plummies not yet in bloom.

Edited to add: the majority of my named variety plumerias are from BBB quite pleased with them and their level of service. Brad always takes time to answer questions. Brian is patient enough when I call my orders in.

I got off topic too. Rolling on the floor laughing

I potted my dragon fruit cuttings, tied it up in a stick and planted it. Once well rotted, I will repot into a big pot and put it on a trellis. Right now, the bamboo stick will and plant tie will hold it together.

That's great Gigi. I bet you will have roots in no time with the heat and humidity. Thumbs up
