Really cool idea!!! Have you seen the cloths at Home Depot that you wet and then shake and then put on your neck. The shaking makes it extra cool.

Hi Jeri, I bought an Enduracool towel at Lowes a few weeks ago and I LOVE it! I don't know who invented those things but it's the best $15 I ever spent. It stays cool for a long time and I don't get overheated as quickly as usual. They apparently make scarves/headwear too. And, it's machine washable! I've never put it in the dryer cause I don't know if that would make it ineffective with whatever the cooling technology is so I just take it out of the washer and hang it to dry, it dries very quickly. I highly recommend them!

Edited to add: When I was in Lowes a few days ago someone was looking for them and I heard the clerk tell him that they were sold out but hoped to get more back in stock in soon. She said they have been extremely popular with athletes, construction workers and landscaper's.

Jeri: Gee, Lowes sells them for five bucks more here at $14.98 each. I know they have bandanas too but I'm not sure what they cost. Thanks for your offer of getting more for me but my husband just placed an on-line order at Amazon.com for a few things he needed and he ordered another for me so I will have a spare!

I'll have to go back and look. Now that you mention it mine may be a bandana. I didn't know there was different kinds, I just asked the clerk for the cool cloth and he went and got it for me.
