I'm so glad you decided to make an article out of this! It was interesting but confusing to research and it's great to see a definitive answer to the original question! I'm sure there are many gardeners who will be interested in this. Thumbs up (Sigh, wish I could grow the darn things here!)

Maybe someone will breed an Ebony dwarf in the not too distant future. The L indica Cherry Dazzle dwarf is supposed to only get to a mature height of 3 feet and a spread of 3 to 5 feet. It grows at a rate of about 6 to 8 inches per year.
