This "Ask a Question" forum is a great place to browse, because there are so many good answers to good questions.

There might also be a regional forum for your location. When a question depends too much on climate, sometimes Dave moves that thread over to the regional forum, and the people following the thread hardly notice.

There are also 21 forums dedicated to specific plant varieties.
