I am a little worried about it now as it dried up alot. Do clems do that? I have seen that before in the clems.....

Yes, they do that, Janice. They dry up and look horrible and then they come back and look lovely. I had some that dried up in June, so I cut back the dry parts to about 6 inches and now they're tall and blooming again.
I am drooling! I have heard good things about this clem. I got one earlier this spring but had it in a pot and the sprinkler system wasn't working. It is in the "ICU" now, so hopefully I will get a show like you one day.
I planted 6 Clems at the base of that trellis, so some of the leaves you see are of the others.
We had Clems blooming there for quite a good while. Some before the Prince and alot after.
I always do that with my trellises.
