I know that you grow lots of veggies Rita. I'm only growing my own tomatoes so I'm happy to be able to buy other fresh produce. Fresh corn is a real treat and the farm stand where I buy it picks it fresh each morning. I'm looking forward to cantaloupes all fall and winter squash when it is ready. I'm also enjoying cucumbers sliced in seasoned rice vinegar with a little sliced onion. Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up for fresh produce.

Well, I don't grow corn. No room for it. And there is no farm stand nearby so I have to buy my corn at the supermarket in season. Not really bad but I know it doesn't taste like really fresh picked.

And really, I refuse to buy supermarket cucumbers. I only eat cukes when I have my own but in summer I eat a lot of cucumbers and tomatoes also. I would guess that farm stand cucumbers are really good, just like you grew them yourself.

Paul, their produce looks really good! I'm sure you enjoyed the corn.

We grow a little, just for ourselves, not to sell at market. I forgot to apply the mineral oil this year so we have some corn earworms. I just ask DH to do the shucking so I don't have to see them! Hilarious! and it is so good!!!! We are growing Silver Queen this year.

Very nice looking produce!!!! Our farm stand should have corn now and it is the best tasting corn ever. Need to go get some for sure.
