I've been experimenting with porcelain floor tiles and nail polish.....
This seems so mu ch better AND less expensive!!!

Instead of carboard pieces I suppose you could use slats from mini blinds also. Clever idea.

I don't think the slats would work because they probably are too hard to emboss and you wouldn't get a very deep impression.
