What do you think? Is Fasciation beautiful or grotesque? I find this Rudbeckia and these Zinnias to be beautiful. Do you have any examples?

I'm with gingin; I really like that first zinnia photo! I'd love to be able to grow those reliably!

So, is this what is happening to some of my Gaillardia? Hadn't seen it before. Interesting!

I have those same Gaillardias Tara. I have a batch of the large Blackeyed Susans that mutates and keeps green petals that never turn yellow that appear every year.

Great pic's Paul and all!

I used to have a huge patch of coneflowers before I got into daylilies. In 2007 I took these pictures because I didn't know why the blooms were mutating like this. I didn't know it was called fasciation. I don't know that I would call them beautiful, but they are unique Big Grin

Those pictures speak words that most would fear to say about what they see in them. Nature is nature. If these were inkblots, what would the therapist possibly think the right answer should be?! Hilarious!

Beautiful Flowers!

Wow, I love all the fascinating mutations.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
